What are you doing for New Years?

We are staying home and hanging out. Im so glad tomorrow is a weekend. Now that this is the last day of the year does that mean we are ending this blog? I think I need to start my own since Im pretty much the one keeping this going.

Well I was thinking that after we ask the question and answer it maybe we should add a cute picture of something. For example you can put a pic of Serena or the new cute scarf  you got! (Uncle Tony) BTW The girl holding Serena is my friend Alyssa.

What did you eat for dinner?

We had spaghetti and it was delicioso. Serena is sick so she didn't eat, poor baby!

Well i have cute ones now! For Christmas I got 2 and now i am totally into them!!!

im not but everyone here at work is! i can hear everyone in their offices across the hall coughing and blowing their noses. yuck!!!! i feel like i'm going to catch their germs. ugh =(

Did you get what you wanted for Christmas?

I did get a lot of great presents! I was a little sad because I would have liked to celebrate Christmas in CA but I had a good time hanging with the kids and husband yesterday. Ryan and Silla built an awesome snow fort (which they are outside working on again). Pictures to follow!

did today feel like Christmas?

for me it did! i only had four hours of sleep 'cause i was cooking and wrapping presents last night, and i was busy trying to help out at both family parties. but i still had a lot of fun and did have the Christmas feeling.

Guess who passed their test?

Finally! This test has been weighing me down for the past few months now. Its something I wanted about 5 years ago and finally just decided to seriously study for it. What a relief!

is it raining/snowing where you are?

it is pouring in costa mesa!!! i have a floor to ceiling window in my office and the rain is hitting it hard!

Do you want to hear a sweet story?

Silla told me this story yesterday. She lost her little Ahiru No Pekkle bag on the bus one day so she asked her bus driver where his lost and found was. He showed her and it wasn't there. He asked what it was so she told him. Yesterday, the bus driver handed her her bag. He said he found it on the floor and it was muddy so he brought it home and washed it for her.

Ahhhh so sweet! I can't get over it!!

Does your company get alot of gifts from clients?

Every Christmas, we end up with tons of chocolate, cookies, etc. I love it!! Giradelli chocolate is so good.

What is the last thing you ate?

I just had toast with honey butter from Land o Lakes. It tastes so good. You must go out and buy a tub asap!

I always look forward to dessert. I always loved mommy's kakanin and now that I know how to make it, I am so excited!

It reminds me of Daddy. I heard it today at Silla's orchestra performance. It was one of her songs.

i'm about halfway done. my list is not very long this year.

We just experienced Minnesota's snowiest day in 19 years. Insane! Its kind of fun being inside watching. Thank goodness it was a weekend.

Do you have a Christmas tree in your house?

We have this fake tree we bought last year. It does the trick. Small, cheap but something and Serena enjoys messing with the ornaments.

Do you sleep through the night?

I usually wake up a few times a night even for just a few seconds. I always look at the time to see how much more I can sleep. My favorite is when I check the clock and its early in the night.

was this question asked already? probably. i'm craving mango right now. i have one at home, but i'm still at work. i'll have to wait a few hours before i can eat it.

Did everyone get their secret santa?

We got our yesterday and today we are going shopping! We will battle the single digit weather and venture over to MOA just to be a part of this years festivities. Ryan suggested we Skype while we open each others gifts. I think that's a great idea!

How many loads of laundry do you do a week?

I do about 2 or 3. Tonight I am trying to get caught up. Im not kidding when I say I have about 6 more loads to go. Its time for me to wash blankets, towels, everything!

Soup or salad?

Soup for me please. We just went to OG and I ordered zuppa toscana. So delicious! I feel like salad is a waste of a side.
