My work had some Twins tickets so I requested tonight's game against the Dodgers. We got 4 awesome seats! I feel like it will be more fun because it was a bonus!

what time do you eat lunch?

my time has been getting later and later. the past week i wouldn't eat 'til close to 3:00. it's currently 4:26 and i STILL haven't eaten. i just dont get that hungry.

What did you do today?

We started the day kitty sitting for Brooke. She paid Silla $10 to clean the litter, put out a can of cat food, take in her mail and water her plants. Not bad for an 11 year old. The hardest part is the drive out there. On the way home, Serena threw up and it was a disaster. It got everywhere! I had to disassemble her car seat so I could wash it. We then headed to Minneapolis for day 1 of the FilAm basketball tournament. It was fun hanging out with the team and the team families. Came home, dropped Silla off at her besties sleepover bday partay, ate at Pei Wei and now just realxing at the house.

What is the last thing you stressed out about?

I have been so stressed out lately because we have to move by August 1st and we haven't found a place yet. I wake up with headaches and I check Craigslist every 30 minutes hoping for a new listing to show up. Hopefully we will find something soon.

Did you know Bentley would have been 6 today?

He would be a big boy! Be sure to drink lots of water for him. That's how he would have been celebrating...

How is your weekend going?

I am at the office catching up on some work. I set off the alarm when I entered the building this morning. Luckily another coworker answered her phone right away because she was able to give us the code to turn the alarm off! **Phew!**

do you want to hear my sad dream?

i found a baby on the street so i picked it up and brought it home. when serena saw me trying to bring the baby inside the house, she got so jealous that she scratched my foot to stop me. she scratched me so hard that i started bleeding. like, a lot. i didn't know what to do.. with the baby or my foot. i woke up crying. haha.

Did you know it's my 1 year anniversary?

It's been a year since I got the keys to my condo! I can't believe how fast the time flew.

what do you smell right now?

i smell brownies! i'm baking brownies for denise's 30th bday tomorrow. i had eggs that needed to be used. haha.

Did you know you can surf in Minnesota?

Jenn's question the other day made me do some research on what to do in Minnesota. Apparently there are waves in some of the bigger lakes. I had no idea it was possible. I wouldn't want to try surfing there, but I would want to try stand-up paddle boarding (on calm water). Would anyone else be interested? Anthony?

when's the last time you got hurt?

i just scraped my foot against the cabinet door beneath my kitchen sink. i hate when i hurt myself over something dumb like that. haha.

Are you watching the NBA finals?

Ryan has a few friends over to watch the game so I'm watching it by default (well half watching, half browsing the internet).

What do you guys/girls want to do when your here in MN?

I want to plan a few things but need some ideas. Jucy Lucys for sure. What else? We can go to Wisconsin, there's waterfalls in Duluth about 2 hours away. Caves in Wisconsin about an hour away. Fireworks, Mall of America but we already did that... or just chill. Let me know!

Do you remember the kitten incident?

I don't want to get too descriptive on here but it has to do with the kittens in the back bathroom when we came home from school. I want to figure out what happened just like we figured out Karen's kidnapping mystery.

Do you like my clay frame?

I made this frame in art this year and it was super fun. I especially love the bright orange glaze. Without it, it would just be blah. Oh and btw the words you see say beach in greek letters and the picture is a palm tree!

Do you need snacks to get you through the day?

I do! I usually bring a granola bar, cereal, or mixed nuts. Today I brought grapes and a nectarine. I'm constantly eating at my desk!

have you ever been bullied?

oh my gosh.. SOOOOOOO ridiculous!! i went to get boba with jenn and gennie last night and a group of girls came in. two of the girls were just normal, but the other two were totally trouble makers and trying to start something with us. DUMB!!!! we were totally just minding our own business, and we are SO normal looking. why would they even bother us?! twice, they shouted obnoxious things at us, and both times we just ignored them. i was facing the window, and they moved outside to sit at the table right next to the window, so the meaner of the two mean girls sat directly in front of me and gave me dirty looks the entire time. this went on for about 20 minutes. she was trying to provoke me/us, and i just didn't want to give her the satisfaction of thinking we were scared or intimated. i didn't tell jenn or gennie what was going on, and i didn't ask to move seats. i just kept my cool and continued to chat with my friends and still smiled and laughed like a normal person. it was seriously like an episode of the dog whisperer. haha. she was totally trying to be alpha dog, and i was cesar just acting like i don't care and not showing any fear anytime she mad dogged me. whenever i would look up at her and see her squinting her eyes at me, i would just blankly stare for a second or two and then look away. what else was i supposed to do? it's like she wanted me to either get scared or give her a dirty look back so we could get into a fight. haha. how stupid and immature. nothing like this has ever happened to me. i was so riled up when i was telling them about it afterwards. haha. it was SO dumb. but maybe i'm dumb for letting it bother me this much. haha. i just prayed for her after. what would YOU do in that situation?

Do you like the Summer?!

Of course I do, but u guys dont have it off. No school, katy perry concert, cali, and so much more that i cant wait for. My last day of school is this friday and i just cant wait!!!!

What is your best investment?

And Im not talking about a "real" investment like stocks, bonds or house, etc., Im talking about a purchase of something else... like for me it was lazer hair removal. I love it and I would do it all over again if I had to.

how often do you drink coffee?

usually i only drink my mocha frappes on friday and then one on the weekend just for fun. but this week i needed one on both tuesday and thursday because i was so sleepy from staying up 'til 3:00-4:00 in the morning. anthony keeps telling me that coffee is not bad for you, and people drink it everyday, but i am just afraid i will become dependent on it. am i being silly?

Are you busy at work?

I am guessing you girls are. I am pretty caught up right now but that can turn around in a day and then I can be super busy. No matter how busy I am though, I always seem to find time to take an internet break. I think it helps me get through all the work.

Guess who got an award today?

Silla was nominated by her science teacher Mrs. Borcher (who the kids call Borcher Torture) for some special recognition award. We went to her school this morning where they had a little ceremony for the kids. I'll let her tell you more about it.
